January Favourites

Thursday, 5 February 2015

This year is flying by so quickly i don't know what to do with myself. I can't believe I've been blogging for a month nearly, i know it doesn't seem like very long but i never keep anything up so this is a long time for me haha.
I'm doing my first monthly favourites post today and i thought instead just making it beauty related i will add a little bit of food in there too, well one bit, here we go.

Rude Health Almond Milk
I only found this product this month and i am SO glad i did, when i say its like drinking a little bitt of heaven it really is its amazing! Its a bit more expensive than the other almond milks out there but is so worth that extra £1 or so (you can buy here). I love any almond milk and i really should learn how to make my own but for the time being this is my go to buy when buying it. It has such a creamy taste so if you love normal milk because of the creaminess you honestly wouldn't have anything to complain about here, it also doesn't taste really nutty like a lot of the unsweetened versions do! I usually put it with my cereal or in my tea but you can literally do anything with it, bake with it, put it in coffee, in your smoothies, anything. So if you're an almond milk lover like me or even if you're not i would seriously recommend this amazing drink.

MUA Matte Lipstick Fawn Fancy
Now, as you all would know if you've read my Top Lippys post that i am totally obsessed with this lipstick (you can buy here). Everything about it is pretty much perfect, its so creamy, cheap and stays on for so long. This lipstick is £1! Usually i would never pick up such a cheap lipstick as i would just straight away assume it would be a bad product but because i had never worn a nude lipstick before i wanted to try something out that wouldn't make me penniless, so i bought this and my life pretty much changed haha. This lipstick looks exactly like MAC Velvet Teddy but like barely anything whereas theirs is £15. It stays on all day as well which is just an added bonus to the look of it, I just love everything about it.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This is by far my favourite make up remover in the world! I usually put it on a cotton pad and wipe it over my face and it gets everything off in a matter of seconds, sometimes i use it twice before washing my face just so it gets rid of everything, which it does!
Everyone was raving about micellar water for so long i had to give in and try it and i am so glad i did, it actually leaves my skin feeling so clean, whereas sometimes i find that using a wipe may be easy but i never feel like my skin is totally clean and fresh. This totally does and its so affordable as well so you don't even have to break the bank to have fresh feeling skin (you can buy here).

Rimmel Fix and Protect Pro Primer
For so many years i wondered why my make up wouldn't stay on for more than an hour, little did i know that primer existed! This primer is so silky smooth on my skin its an actual pleasure to put on (you can buy here), some primers I've used in the past have been quite thick and leave my make up coming out blotchy, especially around my dry patches. This product doesn't do that at all it makes it so smooth and my make up sits on it perfectly and leaves me with no patches what so ever! Big recommendation here.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara
Again if you have read this blog post you would know I'm a little bit obsessed with this mascara. I love it so much, although this is a little bit of a pricey mascara it is so worth the money (you can buy here). My eyelashes have never looked so long unless I'm wearing fake ones, but with this i don't feel like i need to wear any fake eyelashes on a night out which is a lot for me because i am miss stumpy eyelashes over here! It makes them look so natural which is a plus because so many mascaras can make you look like you have spider legs for eyelashes, and you only need 1 coat!

Real Techniques Stippling Brush
Last but not least we have the stippling brush from real techniques. Now i only really found out about Real Techniques this year, which i know is pretty late but i fell in love with them as soon as i saw them. I went on a little bit of a mad one and bought nearly every single one. I don't usually wear foundation so i bought this more for contouring but i thought i would try it with my foundation/bb cream anyway and i loved it! It blends the foundation so well without leaving little lines on my face which quite a lot of foundation brushes do. It is literally the best brush in the world i won't ever stop using it!
